60's Flamingo Halloween

So I know it's been like a year since I updated. RL has had me all tied up.
So now that Im getting back in the swing of things on SL just in time for Halloween. I started hitting all my favorite stores and came across the ever popular Collabor88 one of my most favorite stores. Anyway this month they are paying homage to the great John Waters with a Pink Flamingos theme. I squiled  so loudly! I am a hardcore John Waters fan and a even bigger Divine fan.

I found this awesome picture of Divine from the Pink Flamingos movie and set out to recreate the look.

Over at Collabor88 I ran into this delicious dress by yet another one of my favorite designers Schadenfreude. She has created this beyond awesome dress that captures Divine to a Tee! I fell in love with the animal print making this dress rockabilly heaven! The amazing texture job on this  sent me back for two more colors. There is also pumps to match each dress in every color but I wanted to show a bit of toe cleavage with this one :) Best part! Wait for it! The dress is rigged mesh so it fits my curves perfectly!

I paired it with this amazing beehive up-do from Mystic Canvass for the perfect 60's swing/ rockabilly look.
This style is not mesh but with it being an updo it works. Great texturing on this one as well and it comes in all colors from blonde to lime green. I bought it in the black and wild packs.
I chose to keep my black lippie and eyeliner to bring this look into modern goth and besides I love my black lippie :) I also paired this dress with an adorable necklace also featured at Collabor88 by MG called Juicy love lips. It features color change hud with five different lippie colors. Super cute! My Elf ears are by Schadenfreude of course! Cutest ears on the grid!!

While I was out hunting for the perfect place with a 50's 60's scenery so I can photo up I came across The Naughty Box Burlesque Theatre & Jazz Cabaret,  This vintage mobile home camp features mobile homes complete with full picnic area and guess what!?!?  Pink flamingos!!! It was the perfect spot to shoot this outfit. Here is a few more shots because I loved the place!

I finished off this look with a pair of old faithful N-Core heels with color change hud so I could match the heel to my dress. I think I'm ready for any Halloween party or 60's theme event! Don't be a square be a drape!
